An inevitable start of the autumn was felt in the air on this September evening, when a group of fans headed towards the biggest Copenhagen venue – Royal Arena – to forget about the upcoming grey period with the tunes of The Pussycat Dolls.
The crowd, consisting mostly of female fans, was ready for the show proudly wearing headbands with pink cat ears sourced at the merch store.

The show started with a display of a photo album of all three members (although I seem to remember they were more than that), taking fans to their childhood memories. When the visual part was finished, the tunes of the first hit filled in the venue and the stage was filled with the dancers.
After no longer than two minutes, the first of the band members appeared on the top of a construction placed in the back of the stage, accompanied by the cheer of the crowd.
Obviously every fan waited for the band leader to appear, and when her shadowed figure started to be visible in the central part of the stage, the cheer turned into the loudest roar. Yes, Nicole Scherzinger was definitely the one everyone was waiting for.

The band started off with one of their first hits, When I Grow Up, accompanied with a complex and yet precise choreography, both from dancers as well as band members. Starting from the top of the stage, one by one each of the Pussycats was taken down by a special escalators to continue the party on the main part of the stage and the long catwalk which almost reached the middle of the venue.
It was just after third song – Whatcha Think About That – that the band placed themselves strategically to the back of the stage, where dancers tore apart the pink overalls from all three singers revealing the silver shining costumes hidden underneath. The concert rolled on, with both hits such as I Don’t Need a Man or Jai Ho! and less popular songs until something special was cooking midway in the setlist.

This was the moment when each of The Pussycat Dolls got the chance to introduce themselves to the audience and fans got a chance to watch short clips from the family archives including school performances and family holidays.
Each of the members presented some solo material as well as tried to show some skills they are proud of, with Kimberly Wyatt presenting a short DJ set, Ashley Roberts performing some contemporary dance routine, and Nicole Scherzinger showcasing the full power of her voice chords by singing a selection from her solo production.

The final set of the show was filled with all the hits including Buttons and Hush Hush, with the grand finale reserved to their biggest and most recognizable songs: Don’t Cha. That concluded the one and half hour long performance; the fans then started slowly leaving the arena and getting back to the reality of an early and windy Danish autumn.
